about

Last summer, I was granted a week long artist residency that allowed me to inhabit a small shack amidst nearly 2000 acres of environmentally protected coastline on the Cape. This residency was organized by the Peaked Hill Trust, a non-profit group that maintains several shacks within this nationally protected seashore and enables others to experience the unique connection with the environment that staying in a shack can provide. During my stay, I invited several musicians to visit and contribute their talents to a compilation EP. Utilizing a modest recording studio transplanted into the shack, these artists performed their existing works, composed new material and gathered inspiration for future works. This eclectic collection, Humble Structures, is some of the output of our time in the shack.

This is a free EP. If you choose to donate money, 50% will be forwarded along to the Peaked Hill Trust to promote their stewardship of the shacks and all things natural within the Cape Cod national seashore. The other 50% will most probably be spent on whiskey.
